Loved the specious rooms. The lobby was beautiful! The first night, we left my husband's phone in the car when we handed it over to the vallet. The gentleman was downstairs in the lobby, with the phone getting ready to call the room. It was nice that he grabbed it and brought it in. Wish he was there our entire stay he was so nice. Felt at ease leaving my car in his hands

The Hotel was fine. I thought parking was included and it was not. My mistake. There is valet parking but for an additional charge. I found a municipal lot for less. The heat was with a small electric unit in the room and when I turned the microwave on while the unit was going it blew a fuse. A nice maintenance person came and solved the issue quickly with a little extra help from his supervisor over the phone. Paying for parking tainted my experience but all in all the hotel met my expectations. The hotel had elegant communal spaces, comfortable bed and pillows. Spotless.

Beautifully restored historic hotel! The rooms are spacious, the service was excellent, the location was convenient with a walkable distance to downtown attractions. The decor was impressive and the price was reasonable. The online check-in/check-out feature was easy to use and offered easy add-ons like early check-in and late check-out for a modest fee.

Historical property very well maintained. Valet, front desk and breakfast server staff was friendly, attentive and helpful. Room was spotless, cudos to the housekeeping gang.

Location, picked me up from airport in their Luxury Limousine, staff very cordial and attentive to detail , very secure ie elevator access via room card , fantastic decor , bar area with top shelf liquor, breakfast-Lunch-available adjacent to bar, laundry service available or self-laundry, room is immaculate, plenty of towels, toiletries, desk area with sofa, sheets sparkle clean all accented by a welcoming and comforting aroma. Check out at 12pm , 24hr snack area available. Ice machines on every floor. Tastefully decorated with historic pictures of Allentown businesses throughout. Overall, The Americus delivers above and beyond. Kudos to Big Al. !!

The staff was really nice and attentive! The beds were very fresh and comfortable, the AC worked almost too well. The room service was delicious. The living area was spacious and well equipped. They provided additional linens and pillows quickly. Lobby and common areas were cool and historic.

I thought the overall vibe was great! It made think of the elegance portrayed in the movies. Breathtaking upon entering.

My family was traveling from Baton Rouge to Boston and booked this hotel for our last travel night From the minute we walked in we loved it. The concierge Steven was awesome so helpful and professional. The hotel is beautiful like going back in time. The room and bathroom were super clean and beds were very comfortable. I wish we could have stayed a little longer to explore because location is great. Thank you Americus for a great stay. The Lydon Family ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💥

Property was in a good location. One gentleman was very accommodating to my needs with my car and kept it in valet on the side street so I didn’t need to move my car to another location since I was getting married just down the road. Room was very spacious and the beds were extremely comfortable. Shower pressure was pretty good. Would stay here again

The room was very nice. It was very roomy, had lots of mirrors, mini fridge, huge shower and was in close location to the PPL center. I liked the valet services but was disappointed they didn't tell you there was no parking prior to the visit. All the staff was friendly, kind and informative. Would stay here again!
